Hitman Blues Band

Blues in all its styles
GRAMMY: We're in the running for a Grammy nomination! There are 54 other bands vying for 5 slots. We're up against legends like Koko Taylor and Otis Rush, as well as great artists like Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Watermelon Slim (to name just two). Wish us luck!
TOURS: We were planning on doing a European tour in May '08,. but we now found out that we're booked for some festivals in Luxembourg and Belgium in July. So, we're hoping to be able to do the gigs from May in July, adding Germany, the Netherlands and Austria to the itinerary.
Due to numerous factors, the fall '07 West Coast tour had to be postponed. We're hoping to be able to schedule it for fall of '08, if not before. Meanwhile, we're booking up for the winter and spring of '08 here on the East Coast.
CD: It's getting to be that time again. We're sifting through the new material and figuring out what to record for the new CD. Studio versions of the new tunes from the "Live" CD are a definite, plus we've got some great new material that we've been playing at live shows (no false modesty here, we really like them!) We're not setting a release date yet, as THIS time we want to have everything co-ordinated.
Breakaway

Six man band specializing in Original American Rock n Roll n Blues
Good Times Magazine, December 2004
"Mulcahy's became the house of Blues as Breakaway began their set. The six man unit turned heads immediately with the opener "Look Around". Breakaway were perhaps the most seasoned and accomplished musicians in the line-up, as heavy Les Paul leads, sharp harmonica solos and three part harmonies put them someplace on the scale between Led Zeppelin and The Band"
Madawg & The Pack

While many bands copy and cover, few cover without copying. This Long Island-based six piece powerhouse straddles funk, soul, rock and blues sounds of the 60s and 70s and delivers it with special style. Twin guitars, keys, electric fiddle, drums, bass, four lead vocalists who harmonize; the ’Dawg gets the party rolling and the spirits flowing. Madawg & The Pack brings down three solid, high-energy sets of classic blues-rock, funk and soul tunes, mixing in some of its own tasty originals. Madawg & The Pack seeks bookings throughout the greater New York Metropolitan area (the 5 boroughs, Westchester, Rockland , and Orange Counties, Northern NJ , Southern and Central Connecticut, and Long Island ).
