10 piece Soca Band

Toco Band is a 10 piece Soca brass band with 3 horns, female background singers performing Soca music (dance/party music from the Caribbean). the song "Hot, Hot, Hot" was a Soca hit from the 1970's that was made into an American cover tune afterwards. Most of the songs in our book are similar in sound and feel to that. It is music that is geared to getting people up and partying-dancing.

Toco's music comprises of catchy and danceable tunes born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. Featuring a lively horn section, solid rhythm section and sweet vocal harmonies, the band plays the music of Carnival which never fails to get people up and partying. The sounds of live brass, steel drums, and West Indian rhythms are awaiting to take you away to the deep caribbean. Come and bus a lime with them

10 piece Rhythm & Blues Band

Once called Long Island ’s greatest live act ever, the Stanton Anderson Band is back, claiming their reign on the rock ’n roll throne. SAB helped create the Long Island music scene, paving the way for bands like Twisted Sister & Zebra. Their powerful live shows & popularity took Long Island by the ears & created a following of life-long fans that came out of the woodwork upon SAB’s reunion in 2000. It all started in the early 70's. Mark Fowler, a vocalist & harmonica player, moved up to Long Island & hooked up with bassist Larry Luby & guitarist Rick Silecchio. By 1972, the band’s line-up was in place & they began to storm Long Island with soulful sounds & blues-inspired rhythms.

Today the band line-up consists of the original members Mark Fowler, Larry Luby & Rick Silecchio with Bobby Simons on keyboard, Linda Mackley on drums, Tom Pecororo on guitar & the Skid Row Horns, led by Pete Tursi on trumpet, Ian Platt on tenor and bari sax, Mike Guido on tenor sax and clarinet, and Grace Tursi on tenor sax. They picked up right where they left off, booking gigs like opening up for Eddie Money and Creedence Clearwater Revival at the Westbury Music Fair & headlining a performance at the Patchogue Theater to present the band a L.I.S.A award from the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. But, you can again find them lighting up the stage, back & doing what they do best – feeding the Long Island buzz with great live music.

10 piece Party/Wedding Band

Behind Closed Doors is based on Long Island . With a dynamic horn section, tight rhythm section, and two personable and talented front-people, they bring the "party" to every performance. Their music consists of rock, soul, funk, blues, Motown, swing and just about anything to get an audience up and dancing. For the past few years we've been working very hard on developing an exciting and fun-filled musical "show" that has been well received at many restaurants, clubs, outdoor events and private engagements here on Long Island and in New York City. Their goal has always been to create an atmosphere of smiles, laughter and dancing. They go to great lengths to custom tailor their set lists to fit the audience and occasion.
