Irish Story Teller

Alice Kelly is a musician, author and storyteller. Born and raised in Ireland, She brings authentic stories from the Emerald Isle that address not only the contents of Irish culture and geography but the spirit and history of this mysterious and beautiful island, where stone walls, still line roads and grazing sheep still stop traffic and where many traditions, now found in America, were born. Stories are set in the 1970’s and told through real life accounts with musical accompaniment on guitar or badhran (Irish drum). A full power-point presentation throughout the stories shows pictures of the countryside in all its glory. Your guests will leave her session with a heightened sense of the Irish heritage, will be able to hold the badhran and speak a few Irish words (known to many Americans as Gaelic) that she intertwines throughout the story. She has performed for both the East Northport and Elwood school districts with her interactive programs.

MC/Comic

Standing 6’6” tall Chris is bringing comedy to new heights. His self deprecating humor and mannerisms make
this gentle giant stand out from the rest (or at least taller than the rest). Chris brings you into his
world talking about everything from his family to some of his unusual life experiences.

Chris’ love for comedy came at an early age. “I remember trying to stay awake as a young kid so I could
watch programs like Saturday Night Live and The Benny Hill show” he said. His ability to make people laugh
began early in his childhood “I became addicted to the sound of laughter immediately. I would’ve run full
speed into a brick wall for a laugh. It’s something that only another comedian could understand” says
Chris.
